Luang prabang

Technically this picture should've been taken on the first day we arrived but I didn't notice it until the last day right before we left.

Loosely translated it says: "You've arrived in Luang Prabang"

For those wondering, we stayed at the Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel I highly recommend it.

Had a cute little visitor in the garden.

The Royal Palace Museum holds a painting in which the eyes follow you as if it were the Mona Lisa. An elderly gentleman who was working there showed it to me after he noticed my enthusiasm in reading exhibition text after exhibition text.

This little guy got curious and came to say hello.

Buried in the Laos jungle Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre care for victims of the illegal wildlife trade and work closely with the Lao authorities to strengthen wildlife protection legislation and enforcement.
